Sella + Siena

On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba presented the products they designed for 4 Mariani, a recognized company and appreciated worldwide for the design and production of office furnitures.

In the world of office furniture, we introduced together with 4 Mariani team, Sella, its name reflects the shape and texture of horse saddles. It is an executive armchair with an essential yet sinuous silhouette, capable of highlighting the excellence of artisanal workmanship on an industrial scale, thanks to its calibrated thicknesses, exterior leather covering, and soft internal padding.

Complementary to Sella, Ludovica+Roberto Palomba also signed Siena, an executive desk characterized by its essential and sophisticated design, obtained from the wide lateral surface, supported by the rest of the structure, more massive and stable and with significant volumes.

As part of a project that aims to bring office design closer to the domestic environment, architects Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba add the lounge armchair and the two-seater sofa to the executive armchair presented last year. These two new pieces stand out for an essential silhouette, yet refined and sophisticated in their lines, perfectly embodying the spirit of innovation and comfort that characterizes the Sella collection.

The new armchair and two-seater sofa are part of an office vision that allows for generous volumes and "architectural" compositions, where contrasts play a key role: simple yet sinuous lines, minimal yet soft thicknesses, all enhanced by a profile that defines the perimeters and emphasizes the curves.

With these range extensions, architects Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba transform the office environment into a space of style and comfort, thanks to research linked to the ideals of lightness and refined materiality. Exemplifying this concept, the tables in three sizes complete the furniture family, characterized by the combination of leather sides with marble tops, matte lacquered MDF, or flamed canaletto walnut essence 0 gloss.
