After the launch of the Velasca sideboard in 2022 and the expansion of the collection in 2023 with a desk, bench, lamp, and rug, the Velasca Collection, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, continues to grow. This time, it welcomes a dining table that fully embodies its distinctive identity.

Desk, bench
Punt Mobles · 2023
The desk and bench are inspired by the same concept that guided the creation of the Velasca cupboard. The two new products both feature a "solid" part consisting of a storage unit made of oak wood, with relief strips, glued by hand on the doors and the side, and an extendable part with rounded legs. In the case of the desk, this part serves as a support surface and in the case of the bench as a seat.
The bench is available with or without a cushion. The vertical pattern of the wooden decoration highlights the wood grain and creates a perfect balance with the smooth surface of the unit.

An architectural, linear, and minimal project, not without elements of warmth.

Wood is the protagonist in its essence and in the detail of the doors characterized by a vertical pattern that denotes three-dimensionality to an essential object.
A winning, versatile project that furnishes and solves functionality in urban spaces, but which, thanks to wood and its declination, brings warmth and texture to the space. A geometric and rigorous linear container, where the doors, unexpectedly engraved with a vertical pattern.
Emphasizing the grain of the essence, related to the architectural element of the shelf, very lightly in a sort of delicate balance that seems almost to create a sculpture suspended in time. It is important to emphasize the joints that create the tangents between the elements, an elevated level of craftmanship making for a surprising result.
