RO Collectible 2022 — Les AMI de RO – Oxygene

Installation
Rossana Orlandi · 2022

The Oxigene project merges the ability of Ludovica Serafini to combine a contemporary vision of society and people's needs, with a broad knowledge of the historical and cultural roots of architecture and design. Producing results that combine the past with the future, honoring the need to create long-lasting products and architecture.
"Ever since I was young, I wanted to paint the body of my parents' car with large flowers. A fantasy that I never realized, until today. With Les Ami de Ro project I got the chances to design a cover for a car, whose main feature is that it is totally electric."
Ludovica Serafini
"The ecology is at the base of my creative and design thinking. For me this means designing good sustainable architecture or good design. In design, a fundamental prerogative is to choose companies to collaborate with that are sensitive to the ecological issue to develop eco-sustainable projects with us.

With our work, these interventions also generate a green conscience on the end user by raising awareness. Hence the idea of my decoration for the Les AMI de RO project - Oxigene. Oxygene moves leaving the oxygen in the air unchanged, trees and nature remain intact as it silently passage, everything breathes. This is the basis of my thinking."

RO Guiltless Plastic 2022 — Vandal Bench
The — Vandal Bench — makes fun of man and his desire to be present with his ego anywhere in the world.

Today it’s possible to find signs and graffiti in archeological sites, like signatures illustrations and dates. In fact, the desire to emphasize our existence starts already from the Paleolithic and Neolithic rock engravings, then in the Roman and medieval times and throughout the Renaissance period.

The Vandal Bench project involves the insertion of writings/graffiti to simulate and highlight signs of street art or vandalism, signs related to memory, love or anger or a contact number, etc.
“Take the moment to appreciate the graffiti on an abandoned object, that will remain forever impressed on this object”
Ludovica+Roberto Palomba

The bench is entirely made of Glebanite, an ethical, recyclable, certified and totally ecological material. Glebanite allows a circular economy as it reworks the waste fiberglass of the most diverse artifacts, from the products used in architecture to the hulls of yachts, from small objects to simple furnishings, all objects destined for landfills.
RO Collectible 2022 — Vulcanica
A collection inspired by volcanic stone. The magma defying the force of gravity, gets where it wants, merging everything together it finds. The collection aims to represent the essence of this material, with three shapes offset from their base, which visually recreate a controlled "instability". The part where the flower is inserted is found in all three versions, also off-axis respect to the centrality of the vase, because the size is not the project, but the balance or "non-balance" of the shapes between them.
Glebanite, has a volcanic effect given by the graphite dust, totally ecological material. This material is a patent that allows a circular economy as it reworks the waste fiberglass of the most different artifacts: from the products used in architecture, to the hulls of yachts to small objects or simple furnishings, (all abandoned objects).
